Purchasing Assistants (Permanent & Contract)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Responsible for the printing and submission of orders eg. Purchase Orders
2) Source and negotiate for non-direct materials and other products requested at competitive price and of good quality
3) Ensure purchased material arrived on time
4) Assist the Managers in cost savings program
5) Liaise with relevant parties in terms of shipping arrangement from port authorities to haulier to banks and custom department
6) Assist in the application and renewal of Duty Import Exemption, Duty Drawback and Sale Tax Exemption and any other related matter to Royal Customs and Excise Department.
7) Ensure the implementation of store procedures are complied during receiving, handling and delivery of direct materials, finished goods and rejected goods
8) Any other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENT

Own Transport Motorcycle
Experience Level 3-5 years
Minimum Education Required STPM or Diploma in Material Management
– Minimum 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment
